The call and inquiry came unexpectedly while we were realizing another event in South America. From the distance and the requirements, as well as the non-existent conditions on site, we should realize a complete production, artists, fireworks and laser shows for the 200th anniversary of Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay – and the whole thing as a time-shifted live broadcast nationwide.

Finding an artist wasn’t a problem. The most important aspect was the local requirements, which we were able to implement quickly thanks to our network in South America. Small events were held all over Asuncion under the motto “By the people for the people”. The only way to win the largest event was to donate a ticket to local social organizations. Over 33,000 visitors saw some great shows in the Defensores del Chaco stadium, including the largest concert by IL DIVO, which also earned them an entry on wikipedia as the greatest of their career – of course as a live broadcast. More than 1100 helpers were involved in the entire event.

Not only was the anniversary a great success, but also the donations that were generated. Even if we would have liked to have done more, we were able to make our contribution. Since then, Paraguay has been an important customer and artists like IL DIVO have also been able to build up a large fan base with our support.
